The couple had stayed together for some time after the murder, but when Temple threatened their daughter with a knife, she had had enough and her desire to do the right thing was greater then her fear.
Robert Temple died in prison in December of 2018 after serving only ten years of a life sentence for the murder of Rosemary. He was extradited from California in 2008 to stand trial.
