Driven by Desire Bobby Rega, Danielle Regan, and Linda Lee

In season 2  episode  3, "Driven by Desire" shows the
story of the marriage of Danielle and Bobby Regan. All is well until Bobby has an affair with Linda Lee and ends up on trial for attempted murder when his wife survives the attack.

ID describes this show as racing enthusiasts Mark and Janet Howard seem happy, until young driver Derek Ofenham enters the picture. What starts as a fling becomes a fatal attraction. Later, Danielle and Bobby Regan's marriage collapses when Bobby's affair comes to light.

His girlfriend testified Bobby attempted to frame her for the murder. According to WRAL, In court, Lee said Bobby Regan had been violent toward her. She claimed Bobby Regan got her drunk, drugged her drink, forced her into the car and made her bring her gun with them. Lee claimed Bobby Regan then went to the house, made her pick up the gun and forced her to pull the trigger.

Linda Lee avoided jail time by pleading guilty to solicitation. Bobby Regan, a former state trooper, was convicted of attempted murder and sentenced to thirteen to sixteen years. You can  not write to him as he served sixteen years and was released from prison.
