A Fool's Bet Bill Exum, Carolyn Exum and Allen Browning

In season 2  episode  1, "A Fool's Bet" tells the story of the marriage of Bill Exum and Carolyn Exum. It goes downhill when Carolyn falls in love with her lover, Allen Browning who kills Bill in the state of Oregon.

ID describes this episode as Virginia and Norman Larzelere live a life of luxury, but when Virginia turns to other men, her need for attention turns deadly. Bill and Carolyn Exum live a normal life until she becomes bored and turns to an old classmate. This romance doesn't end well.    

Carolyn Exum was originally charged with three counts of Aggravated Murder, Attempted Murder, Kidnaping in the First Degree, Assault in the Second Degree, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. She plead guilty to murder and all other charges were dropped. Petitioner conspired with her lover, Allen Browning, to murder her husband. Browning bludgeoned petitioner's husband to death and, when questioned, admitted his participation in the crime.
